drunk? Me?! Nah
| Hello Internet!
It is faaaaar too late, and I've probably had about one or two too many (depending on if you count sips of Ed's drinks or not, which I don't think you should). Had an...uneventful day. Ed had a stressful day (see his blog entry) which is why we ended it with the Aristocrats, which if you haven't seen it, you totally should. I saw it in the theatres when it came out, but it was totally worth seeing again. Life is pretty darn good.
Really that's it. I have a discussion of romance and how it pertains to various age groups but that can wait until tomorrow, or some other time when I feel like it.
Right now i feel a VERY strong urge to sing You'll Never Find Another Love Like Mine, so, I might go do that, or not. We'll see!

Adventures with umlauts! OR how I spent my afternoon
| So, we had a day today. A day in which I did not do things for school (I have things I should do for school, but you know, research, and it's lame and I hate doing it and Moonlighting was on...my dvds).
Instead around fourish Ed and I decided to go into IKEA, to maybe get a dvd shelf or maybe a desk for him (he's been lying on his belly in the Accusing Parlor, it's been very silly). And, IKEA is a strange place. It revises my opinions on the Swedish (my opinions before were as follows: Bort is a funny word, and they shouldn't be allowed to cook), they are crazy, and stuck in some sort of Mod/International style of furniture design, which was all new... you know in the sixties. But the sample rooms are cool, we saw a furnished apartment in 576 square feet, and one in 377 square feet and finally one at 237feet. They got increasingly...RVish as they got smaller. Anyway, we got what we came for, then we came home got pizza and assembled it. Ed really manned it up what with the screwdrivers and the assembling of large pieces of wood (however the using my high heel to nail in the foot pads... not so manly). I'm writing at Ed's desk right now (which is much sturdier than mine), it's name is Robin. Our DVD center is named Besta (it's the... besta thing out there? I don't know). We looked at really comfortable chair named Joakim, and saw a thing that holds your silverware named Tinka.
I repeat the Swedes, they crazy.

blergh
| Oy, today sucked. And I really don't want to talk about it. Which I think is unnerving my roomate, (was grouchy-ish) and I'm sorry for that. I worked until midnight and then I have to be back at work at seven am.
Sigh.
So, about the rest of my life. It's been... busy mostly. I work a lot, and I go to school/volunteer and sometimes I sleep. It's strange to be living with someone again. I keep thinking about Frank, I guess because he was the last guy I lived with (only not really, I mean I lived upstairs, not quite the same). Strangely, I've been feeling... lonely. I can't explain it, but there it is.
My brain turned off hours ago, really. I'm posting for the sake of posting.

party!
| Hey!
So, in brief. Ed and I moved into our apartment, it is nice (except for the roaches which should be dead now). Today we drove to the Bay Area to attent my mother's fiftieth birthday party. Which was awesome. Ed and I tore up the dance floor like you can not believe. The only down part was that my favorite cousin still makes the wrong choices with booze, and then he becomes... 'antisocial' (threatens you to get him more alcohol in a very scary way, then creepily turns around and tells that he loves you). But whatever. I got up and then got down. It was good.
Hopefully someone has pictures somewhere and I'll share those with you. Internet should be coming next week.
Love you all, internet.
