| | Whoo! I just hung out with Sterling tonight! I dressed super cute, vertical striped black tights with long polkadot top over miniskirt (really regular skirt hoisted up over boobs under top). Sterling was handsome, as usual (also dressed nice, with slack style pants and linen dress shirt... wore althetic shoes, but at least they were black). We went to that French place I found last week, and had crepes (high quality ones, too), I had the ratatouille crepe, which is just what it sounds like stew wrapped in cheesy fried shell. Sterling's involved some sort of jam and cashews (it's the jam that's not jam, and it's not called curry, it has a word, I'll remember later). We hung out at the Fox and Goose (because it always seems to be close to where we want to go, and it's well lit and easy to talk in) for a while. Walked around, and then ended up at the Press Club. Which is -not- closed, is instead very much open. It was eighties night, and it was awesome. Of course, a good percentage of the music they played (while awesome to sing along to) had a beat you couldn't really -dance- to, but they made up for it with the ones you could. They played Aha, two Michael Jackson numbers (Beat it and Thriller), Daft Punk (around the world, anyone?), Dancing with myself and lots of other bouncy bouncy songs. The floor was packed for most of the night, meaning at times Sterling and I were just bouncing up and down in place (when it was really packed, we were very close to moshing on accident). Then the floor cleared up a bit and we got to glide around. I love how we twirl (we step and spin in complementary methods, gliding about the dance floor and whirling our arms around). I love dancing with him in general. I know someday I'll find a man who loves me and loves to dance. Finally, we left (the last song started slow, then turned into one of those Rock Ballads, which aren't fun to dance to). And we drove home. Here I am.
I'm so glad he's back
