Chocolate and Flowers obligation day!

so today we celebrate... Saint Valentine, or apparently the mating practices of birds and Chaucer. Not so sure I am pro a Chaucer holdiay, BUT I am a big fan of giving gifts, so alls well. Yeah well, I was a horrible horrible slacker, I didn't really feel up to going to my favorite class, and I feel guilty, really guilty (like I don't skip Chinese history all the time). Apparently the Ed drama is resolved, which is good, but of course it was resolved out of the public (read "my") eye, so now I am intensly curious. Its interesting, I don't like people really, and reality is VERY rarely as vivid as my imagination, yet I want to know everything. I will content myself by telling an interesting story involving the death of a mongoose (and lament that the plural, no matter how much I hope it will change, for mongoose is not mongoose, mongeese or mongai, but mongooses), maybe a close relative of Rikki Tikki Tavi.... aw that is sad, I wouldn't be able to post a 100 words if Rikki Tikki died. Rikki Tikki was a great mongoose, I saw the way he beat those evil evil cobras, never was there a more faithful mongoose... I know I would have one around, if they weren't furry. Thankfully I don't have a cobra problem, but if I did, I can tell you right now, straight to the mongoose store I would go, allergies or no allergies. Did you know that they are related to Civets? What is a Civet you ask, and hah, I can tell you. It is any type of various carniverous catlike mamals of the family Viverride of Africa and Asia, having anal scent glands that secret a fluid with a musky odor. Apparently these "anal fluids" are used in perfume... wow... okay Rikki Tikki has some strange ass relatives.

In other news, I am bored (hence the dictionary.com forray. My solution to boredom [in the absence of people to annoy] is to look up stuff in the dictionary)... and I got the spiffy Valentines day side bar in Neopets (its a limited edition thing, I was mad clever to get it I assure you (okay okay I was quick enough to buy a "mysterious valentine" in a shop and send it). And I have very little homework to do, so I am going to watch Ready To Wear.

Your version of events is far, far more interesting than the truth. The reality is depressingly mundane, and since you really want to know, is best summed up with the words 'relationship stress'. I kept it out of the public (your) eye, because I doubt you (the public) really care(want) to get (read) all the gory details (puppies).

you are a man of principles Ed I suppose those come with becoming the qing of qomedy... I really don't care about what the public cares to hear or not (although I don't think frank feels the same way). I have an incredible fascination with other people's lives, and assume everyone who sticks around must have the same. And it is sad that it didn't involve a mongoose, but it is good that anyone even remotely related to Rikki Tikki didn't have to die... even a civet.
