| Yes, at last I beat sterling in a match! The first game, I lost, but the second game, oh the second game was awesome! I've been informed by people who don't play badminton that the details of what happened are incomprehensible... but I'm going to try anyway. Badminton is played to fifteen points, but you have to win by two points, so if its 14:14, one person has to score to 16, this is called deuce (I believe there is something similar in table tennis and in tennis). SO, sterling was ahead, and I brought us up to deuce (14:14) then he scored a point (advantage him 15:14) then I brought it up to double deuce (15:15), then he scored another point (advantage him, 16:15), then I brought us up to triple deuce (16:16), then I scored a point (advantage me 17:16) then he brought it up to quadruple deuce (17:17) then I scored a point (advantage me 18:17) and then I WON (19:17). It was an awesome and hardwon game. The last game was hard too, but I won that 15:13. So yay me! I've also done a bit of homework today (I MUST study for my industrial England midterm, that is tomorrow), but other than that I've been a bit of a slackabout. In interesting news, Josh Krasner (my first boyfriend) messaged me back (perhaps my Myspace weakness may become a good thing? maybe?), he seemed glad to hear from me. I really hope this goes well (not like the whole Nick mess), I would like to keep some lines of communications open with my past. Speaking of my past, boy talking with Michael Johnson is difficult, I never really feel I get his full attention, but I guess I shouldn't really feel entitled to it, and this way, it keeps my expectations low.
And that's really all that's been going on for me today.
