how can one love theme songs but hate tv?
| | man, I'm an easy girl to entertain, I've just spent the last thirty minutes listening to tv themes, and when you think about how long the theme to the average tv show is, that's a lot of themes.
Other than that, really haven't done much. Really. I went to work, it was very very boring, I dusted... seriously. When there is nothing to do, you dust, and no one dusts, but I did. I dusted all the tables and the endcaps on the second floor. I dusted so much that Kim told me to knock it off. I also had an experiment in "health foods" which was alright, expensive though. They sell the same apples that Albertsons does (Pink Ladies... man those are sweet. Really, that isn't me trying to be "hip" they are sweet and crisp) for more. I guess we are to believe that just by being in a store with healthy healthy food these apples have appreciated a vibe which made them worth almost double supermercado priced. I chickened out and -didn't- buy the star fruit (and it was the only fun looking fruit in there), but I bought a lot of soy stuffs and some most excellent bread and cheese. Really, other than read (which I did a lot of, actually) I've done very little since I got home. So, instead I listened to tv theme songs, they make me happy. Here's my favorite for the evening, sing along if you know it!
Ground floor: perfumerie, stationary and leather goods. Wigs and haberdashery, kitchenware and food! Going up! First floor: telephones, gents ready made suits. Shirts, socks, ties, hats, underwear and shoes. Going up! Second floor: carpets, travel goods and bedding. Materials, soft furnishing, restaurants and teas. Going down!
...why am I the only one singing (I already know why I'm on the only one dancing in my chair)?
PS did you know that John Inman got married this december to Ron Lynch (well he got civilly partenered... which just sounds like two kids forced to work on a school project together).
