shifty eyes, a post at work
| | sneaking a quick blog entry at work: I have to get this down. Today, I made lunch for the charming kids I sit. The usual red barron wasn't there, it was replaced by these pizza slices (versus personal pizza), but it was okay because only the youngest wanted it, the eldest had a sandwhich in mind (creamcheese turkey and munster cheese... sounds gross to me). So I bake it, only to find, when I went to make the sandwhich, that there was neither turkey nor munster cheese. Michael (the eldest) starts ranting (nearly in tears) that his mother went to the store yesterday and she said she would pick him up turkey and munster. So he settles for a red barron pizza slice. Only, once half an hour has gone by, they inform me during lunch that this meal is unacceptable because it contains chunks of tomatoes. I almost killed them! Then they started bitching about their mother and how she went to the store for 45 minutes you would think she could remember a few simple requests. They honestly wanted me to let them call her (shes out of town attending a lecture in SoCal) so that they could personally complain. What spoiled bastards! They settled on reheated pasta and a peanut butter sandwich (eaten begrudgingly)... but bleh. I mean their mother is a wonderful woman, she does so much for them, and these ingratos are complaining about chunks of tomatoes. Sigh, well I only have an hour (50 minutes now) so I'd better go.
