Dear lady customer,
| | Wow, I'm not sure what you planned on accomplishing by dressing me down today, but I really think you picked the wrong lady. If you thought I didn't analyze and then over analyze every customer interaction that does not go as well as I hoped, you were mistaken. I'm aware that my patience isn't endless, and I work hard to be professional and to help people find what they need. I actually take great pride in my job, which pays me poorly but I still love. My job is to anticipate and then satisfy your book whims, to understand the jumble that you give me and from it draw a conclusion as to the perfect book you need. I -like- this, and I'm actually pretty fucking good at it. I also think calling anyone "vicious" to their face is extremely rude and intentionally hurtful, especially when you could only hear one half of the conversation in question, and honestly are not trained in my job (not that it's exceedingly difficult, but familiarity with both the available product and the workings of our system would be useful). I understand that as someone multiple decades older than me you feel entitled to correct me as you see fit (especially given the fact that I look 16ish); if we had been the same age you would never have felt it appropriate to 'school' me, regardless of what job I may hold. I am not your daughter, and I am not under your supervision. I was already having a bad day, and now you've succeeded in making me feel like crap about myself, which is unsupportable (insupportable?), I won't have it. I'm not feeling badly about this, or even thinking about this ANY MORE.
Yours Truly
Amber
