Psychiatry
| | Yeah so... I went and saw a psychatrist today, and it was dissapointing I guess. I didn't find out that I am nuts because I watched the neighbor copulate with zebra or anything. Actually I learned that "Joel" doesn't really like it when he tells me I need to separate feelings/believes from truths and I respond with 'what is truth?' So yeah end result a long talk in which he tells me essentially that we must accept the conecept of truth v. belief for this to work. (I don't know I don't really believe that one can differentiate between "feelings" and "truths," and furthermore I don't believe that the absolute truth lies in science or even that there is an "absolute truth"... but whatever, I'll play along with his game) Also he doesn't need me to explain everything, which is kind of annoying because I think instead of categorizing me according to a checklist you should actually try and get what i think is going on... but whatever, I am sure that he would be bored to tears if he did that with everyone. He is very practical... and that is probably helpful.
Grumble. Had a conversation with Frank... in which he made a convincing argument that Jesus was a hard core anarchist who was big into the end times... he has a point I guess. I don't know the more I learn about the Church (the Roman Catholic Church) the weirder it is...you know, we have this creed thing (the Nicene Creed to be accurate) and it lists the Church's beliefs everyone says them every mass...but it doesn't mention the weird shit... (like the wine and wafers actually become blood and body... which is...gross).
I still don't know is sterling is alive, or if he is just busy (readL ignoring me)... But should this reach him before I can. ROBOT MEDIA is THIS SATURDAY (hah like shouting will make a difference)... remember the student films we saw last quarter... anyhow if you want to go, (as in if you don't have something going with school or the Lady Bonner (or if she wants to go, it was a lot of fun last time [NOTE: this is a sincere offer, not a but it will be incredibly awkward token invitation thingy]). Either how (go don't go, I'm easy), let me know, whenever you get a chance.
Yeah, other than that... it was a day. And now, to sleep!
