what I do with my free time
| | Oh man, you will never believe what I did today. First of all, I have a new blog, I am not making a permanent link out of it, and I don't have it on my profile (should you look me up on blogger)... not because its super secret awesome, but because its my attempts at writing, and that is even more gallbladdery a subject than the Al infatuation thing. Its at here should you care. The point is that I spent two hours writing the entry itself, then another five with the template. I have absolutely no skills in this area... I spent the first two trying to fix the first template I had, only to realize that it would never look right on firefox. Then, the other three were messing with the template I finally settled on. My whole approach is as follows: alter one number in a place I think might be where I want, preview it to see what it did, if that wasn't it, alter another number, then save it when I get it right. Yeah, it was disastrously long, but I managed to activate comments, change colors, alter the fonts, get rid of parts of things I didn't need (I don't have a tagboard, I don't need the archives list the way it was set up, I only needed one link and a blogger button). So yeah, not very impressive, but its the way I like it. I am not even remotely tempted to screw around with it... for the next several months at the very least.
So, job well done me... too bad I didn't work on either of the papers I have due tomorrow... meh.

Ooh, nice blue prettyness. I like it. Not that I'm the king of page design, or anything, but it looks good. And the writing ain't half bad, either, but this isn't the comment box to talk about that.
Oh, and I'll save your gallbladder from the horror of my putting a permanant link on my page, or anything like that.
