Today (well yesterday)
| So, I think about posting at least five times a day... and yet I don't do it. I don't know what is up with that.
Today is my day off... well, no that's a lie, -yesterday- was my day off. So I haven't been doing much. Really, I just haven't been doing much.
I did however have a nice conversation about the weather with Ed:
[Ed] "Spring?" [Me] "too sneezy and tempermental. You have to court spring." "And what's wrong with courting? Nobody courts anymore." "Well it's...um, nouns like spring that have put it out of fashion. Spring may be all sweet and pretty one day, and then BAM its rainy and miserable. Why? what did you do? you'll never know, because Spring has locked you out and will only tell you 'you know what you did.' Why go to all that trouble?" "Yeah, I guess. Stupid lousy mind-games from stupid lousy seasons." "See? Summer is all hot and heavy (humid) and then some places she just never wants to leave. You tell her you're done, but she'll continue on into November sometimes. Winter is just plain remote, always cold, but at least she doesn't make any false promises, you know where you stand with winter, outside shivering because she's busy. Fall is the best of them all, but she's a little flaky, she sweeps in (whenever you can get rid of Summer) and the redecorates everything, cools things down a little, is breezy and affiable. But she's transitory, she'll leave you in a heartbeat for winter" "You're some sick kind of brilliant, you know."
And that my dear friends and neighbor is the quote of the day (just the last line, the rest is too involved to be one quote).
ps For those of you who were unaware. Once upon a time Ed was chained to a wall, he speaks rat. PPS more importantly, Ed and I are taking over as creators of being, and we're insuring magic has a continued state in our world.
