| Sports Night, oh how I love thee. It's been called (with all fairness, I suppose) the trial run of West Wing, but I knew Sports Night first and fell in deeply in love with it. The whole show makes me incredibly happy to see all my favorite characters, all my favorite neurotic, fast-talking, driven characters. I miss Casey and Dana, and how they never end up together because Dana's an idiot (Casey's such a fun guy, and they have incredibly chemistry and if the show had stayed on another season they -would- have, I just know it). I miss Jeremy and Natalie, well more Jeremy than Natalie, because Jeremy is an adorable nerd (and I suppose Natalie is just adorable). I miss Dan, he was taking a darker turn by the time the show ended, but he was a -good- man, and he should have gotten that lady in accounting, she was an -idiot-. I miss Kim and Elliot and all the people in the control room, and how they nearly always have it together. I miss Issac, and how he manages to put all these self-absorbed people in their respective places. I want to hear these people -talk- again, I want to watch them charge down the hallways and be wittier than I could ever hope to be on the fly. These characters are so -smart- about sports and in general, it made me -care- about SPORTS.
Was it a little preachy? Yes. Should it have had a laugh track? GOD NO, it was a comedy only technically, it was more of a light drama.
I WANT IT BACK.
Also, for some reason this show is tied into Freaks and Geeks for me, did we lose them at the same time? I wouldn't be surprised in the least.
Lastly, my life is okay, I got a caserole from Sterling, and my hair trimmed up and a bike
