Today started out pretty darn okay! I woke up and went to the optometrist again (Good lord ,I found "optometrist" really hard to spell! It took me four times to get it right). I now have new glasses, and they look pretty spiffy! I went to Davis and swam 2/3 (okay 65.34%, so -almost- 2/3) of a mile. It was pretty sweet. I'm competent enough at swimming now to think about what I'm doing, instead of thrashing myself forward while trying to breathe.
The night...went meh on me. Ed and I had planned to go out to eat and then see a movie. But then at the restaurant Ed remembered he has a test tomorrow (CBEST! Woo!) and then we were too late to see the movie. So instead of an awesome date night, I was home before ten. I mean, what was the point of all the make-up and outfit decisions if we weren't even outside for longer than it took me to get ready? I am frustrated, honestly. I'm so sick of hanging around this house, I need to -do- something. It's making me damn prickly!
Sigh.
My glasses, though are cute.
