I'm a -lady-, I made a hat
| | Seriously I'm swelling with estrogen here. I crocheted myself a hat. It took me all day today, and my right hand is now cramped into a claw. I slept today, and I read a book, I crocheted a hat and I talked with a friend. It was a nice day.
Man, I wish I had more to say about today, really I'm just excited about my hat. Not that it's the greatest hat EVER MADE, because it's not. It's a very simple hat, but it's mine, because I made it. I do not cook, I do not clean my house, but goddamnit I can take yarn and tame it into a serviceable shape. My mother will be proud, her potential grandchildren may be hungry and living in shack, but they will have hats! (my mother often asks me how I plan on feeding her grandchildren if I don't cook).
Oh man, I'm leaving for my parent's house tomorrow after work. I won't be back home until the 24th.
Okay, I'm going to bed. Goodnight, Internet.
