| Got -real- compliments on my hair today at work, I guess it really needed Sterling's touch.
I really dislike closing at customer service, it is lame. There are less people working at this store than at Reno, so the closing shift is crazy. In Reno there would be one cashier, one head cashier, one music seller, two cafe sellers, one person in kids, one lead, one downstairs customer service one upstairs customer service a manager and maybe a floater for recovery. We were nearly -always- recovered by close, the ten o'clock hour was just -for- recovery. If I was downstairs I'd start doing half the floor around nine (if i had someone who was leaving at ten, they'd finish half by ten) maybe nine thirty if it was a slow night. Upstairs I'd start around nineish as well, and finish up (usually with either fiction or over in Martha's Vineyard). Magazines were worked by the final cashier, bargain is what everyone fixed after closed (after we moved out the carts).
In Citrus Heights we close with: a music seller, a cashier, two customer service people, a lead and a manager (sometimes a headcashier as well). We fight go backs from 10-11, and NEVER are done by 11, we end up struggling with recovery and go backs until 11:45-12am when the manager will call it quits. It's very lame.
Ed's in Chicago, hopefully having a fun time. I still need to go shopping for clothes for my trip (my parents just got back from theirs and were bragging). I also need to learn how to work or fix my digital camera. I need pictures (just in general, my myspace has the same shot of swords for like a YEAR now).
PS spent a while looking up A-word fetishes, that was an eyeopener (playing with spiders or the thought of playing with spiders turns someone on? Well, whatever I guess, I hope I never run into that in bed).
