Today was a -huge- day on Neopets!
That puzzle, the one I worked on months ago? Remember that? Well it's done and the prizes were handed out! I earned 164,300 points, got myself the fifth rank trophy
(seven was the highest, it's much cooler than mine), a side bar, and my pick from the Gift Shop of a 1000 rewards! Well, there were only like 15 rewards, but I earned so many points I could have -anything- in the shop. That was a really hard hour, because I've never got the top prize in any neopets event, ever, forever. It was a battledome item, a ring, no one knew what it did yet. I could buy it, and sell it now (worth 1-2 mill right now) or wait to find out what it does (could be crap, then the price drops could be awesome price skyrockets), but it would cost like all my points. And that is a pretty sweet deal, except I don't battle much, so if it was worthless, then I was sort of screwed. OR, I could get a paintbrush (an honest to god paintbrush), and paint one of my pets it's dream color and some books (which I can either let me neopet read causing them to dissapear forever, or save and sell when the value gets high). So I did the latter, and I don't regret it. I might tomorrow if the Lost Ring turns out to be amazing, but right now, I'm thrilled.

Yes, as Ed has pointed out, its a squirrel priestess, but she's -mine- now, and all I have to do is paint one more pet and the nine will be complete! Mwahahahaha
The books are cool, too. I chose -not- to get the Anubis Toxicology reports (abridged) which is worth about a mill, and instead got Snarkie Answers to Stupid Questions, the Annals of Insanity, and Secrets of Dirgible Construction. I'm pleased with myself, I'm very very pleased with myself.
