How's your life been, Internet? Is the world treatin' you well?
My life has been... well insane might be a good way to describe it. My mother had surgery on Tuesday and there were "complications" she's home now, but she should have been home Tuesday. She's very weak and swollen and in a lot of pain. I rearranged my schedule to be here (my parents' house)to be with her. Outside of that, it's just been school, man. Had another crisis week, I read a book on Nationalism and wrote a small paper for Historiography, I wrote a large paper on an exhibit and I finished my large (by the end it was 15 pages) architecture project for CRM. That last one was -seriously- time intensive, but they're over now, so I can breathe for a minute, whilst I prepare for next week.
I'd like to get some serious sleep tonight, but that doesn't look very likely, I've been running on caffeine for about 61 of the last 72 hours, and it screwed with my sleep.
I really want to be done with school and in a good job, a job that won't kill me physically and that I won't -hate- that will pay the bills. A job that I can leave behind when I get off work, so that when I get home I can do stuff -I- need to do. Too bad I've got two years to go.
